In September 2021 EBS provided a CPD workshop on the subject of”Assessment and management of In September 2021 EBS provided a CPD workshop on the subject of “Assessment and management of suicide risk in the therapy room”. The training was requested by volunteers and fundraising had taken place to enable the course to be provided.
It was facilitated by Sophia Armstrong.
It was a very informative and productive session. It enabled those who attended to dispel any myths or uncertainties that they may have had and to cement and expand their knowledge of the subject. Sophia was very knowledgeable on the subject and open to all questions that were fired her way that day.
Although some may have thought it to be an uncomfortable issue at the start of the day, all found that they were able to be more at ease and confident at the close of the course.
